Beginning tomorrow, March 1st, Carl Craig will take 69 Live on tour in France for the first time.
Check HERE for tour dates and for the full March/ April tour schedule for 69 Live and Carl Craig DJ sets, including Miami WMC dates.
About 69:
As 69 (pronounced six-nine), Carl Craig produced the first ever EP for Planet-E in 1991 - '4 Jazz Funk Classics' - a release inspired from his love of the disturbing sound and vision of English avant-garde group, Throbbing Gristle.
Following releases included iconic masterpieces 'Sound on Sound', the frenetic 'Jam The Box', the beautiful 'Desire', 'Pungtang' and an album from 69 - 'The Sound Of Music'. Planet-E also released a limited edition 69 vinyl box-set in 2009, entitled 'The Legendary Adventures Of A Filter King'.
For the 69 show, Carl Craig will perform Live a selection of the finest 69 classic releases, infused with masks, darkness and 'retina popping' visuals to stimulate all senses...
And... Carl Craig will play three dates at Miami WMC, including an intimate Planet-E showcase on 21st March at The Electric Pickle.

CARL CRAIG AND FRIENDLY FIRES BOILER ROOM TAKEOVER
WEDNESDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2011
Detroit Techno legend Carl Craig announces a Boiler Room takeover with Friendly Fires. There will also be an exclusive first ever play of Carl Craig's remix of Friendly Fires 'Show Me Lights' on the night...
Both Carl Craig and Friendly Fires have invited a DJ to join them on what will no doubt be an evening of the most cutting edge electronic music.
The invite only event will take place at Corsica Studios, South London on Wednesday 16th November. The entire night will be streamed live (from 8 - 11PM) by weekly cult online streaming project The Boiler Room.
The full line up is as follows.
Carl Craig (69 Live set) / Friendly Fires (DJ set) / Paul Woolford (DJ set) / Axel Boman (DJ set)
This year Carl Craig is celebrating 20 Years of his Detroit imprint Planet-E and, for the first ever time, has taken the show on the road selling out clubs and festivals the world over. Alongside this, he has performed trio shows with Moritz Von Oswald and Francesco Tristano - including ADE and La Gaite Lyrique in Paris - but he's not stopping there. Planet-E is shortly to release vinyl compilation '20 Fucking Years Of Planet E - We Ain't Dead Yet' in an exclusive box set.
2012 will be solely focused on his 69 live show, performing a selection of the finest 69 classic releases, infused with masks, darkness and 'retina popping' visuals to stimulate all senses.
Friendly Fires' love of electronic music is well documented and the band are delighted to be curating this unique event alongside Carl Craig, who also continues the tradition of brilliant Friendly Fires remixes with his version of 'Show Me Lights', which will be debuted on the night. The band have just returned from a extensive tour of the USA, following show-stealing appearances at festivals across the globe. Now back in the UK for their November tour, their biggest to date, which will see the band performing to 36,000 people over thirteen nights, culminating in three consecutive nights at London's 5000 capacity Brixton Academy.
The Boiler Room is a weekly online Ustream broadcast, whereby clubbers are able to experience sets from their favorite DJs in the comfort of their living room. Since it's first incarnation, literally in a boiler room in Hackney, it has grown to become the go-to place for the very cutting edge in electronic music - whether you're lucky enough to be there in person, or logging in from anywhere in the world, the boiler room remains one of the finest communities and shared musical experiences available today. Past shows have seen the likes of Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Diplo, James Blake and Radiohead streamed to thousands of people.

Riding the train is better than the plane...unless you're in the US where its just useless.

Kids, don't do drugs!!! Unless you're on your deathbed. Then do ALL the drugs.
